2. What I Already Know About My Book

So far I know that my book is about a white novelist, name John Howard Griffin. Who was curious to learn the truth about what it was like to be black in the deep South. To learn the truth he set out to discover by personal experience. John Griffin temporarily darkened his skin by undergoing many medical treatments. Some of those who knew thought he was crazy because of the things he were about to experience as a black man. He was going to be crossing the line into a country of hate, fear and hopelessness. This life style John would now have would be way different then what he was use too. After completing the treatments John shaved off all his hair. Now he was ready to pass as a American black man in the deep South. He was treated way differently. John Howard Griffin is also the man who wrote this book, this was his startling report. I learned all of this by reading some of my book and the descriptions.
